A platformer... but reversed!
Had some time this morning, so I decided to make a quick game for the Platformer Jam! This is a reverse platformer called Lay the Land, where you place obstacles to get the little slime across the level. I haven't made a game that required any level design in a long time, so finally got to scratch that itch!
The jam's theme was Reverse, so my initial thought was that the character would undo motion. After thinking about it for a while, I started to like the idea that it was a character that went back to the start over and over, like a time loop, and eventually came up with this: a reversal of the platformer formula and a time-loop sort of thing.
There are 20 levels and a sandbox mode, with a few different objects you can use to get across the levels. I also included a basic save function in case you decide to leave and come back later, so don't worry about losing your progress.
Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
